OPEN HOUSE

AN INTRODUCTION TO LAWN BOWLING

SATURDAY, JUNE 2, 2019

Uncle Sam

I WANT YOU TO

BE A LAWN BOWLER

We held our Lawn Bowl Club Open House on June 2 unlike most of the other Lawn Bowl Clubs throughout the South West Division.  This annual effort is held in hopes of attracting new people to the sport of Lawn Bowling.
We had 5 visitors participating in trying their hand at delivering bowls  and learning the basics about the sport of bowls. The day was overcast and cool with a little dampness which may have attributed to the poor turnout.
We followed the Open House program that Newport Harbor Lawn Bowls Club developed and it worked well a couple of years ago but not so much this time.
