 Lee Combs, 75, passed away at home on June 26, 2009 after a three year battle with cancer. She attended Whittier College and started her first career of teaching in McFarlane and Ojai, California and later in England. Her second career was that of a lab technician for many years at Ventura County Hospital. After retirement she enjoyed activities such as camping, travel, golf and of course lawn bowling. Lee served on the Oxnard /Joslyn Lawn Bowls Club Board of Directors in 2001 and 2002. She also was an accomplished pianist, a talent that not many knew about. |
