IN MEMORY of

Irene Anne Davy

1919 -  2006

A memorial service was held at the Oxnard LBC clubhouse on January 7 attended by more than 60 close family members and friends plus about 30 lawn bowlers. This was followed by a church service. The following photos were taken at the memorial service. These are followed on page two by select photos taken at lawn bowling events from 2003 through 2006.

To Irene’s family, friends, neighbors

and lawn bowling companions:

Knowing our mom/Oma/mother-in-law was to love her! Those of you who knew her well, knew she had a great sense of humor. Additionally, her poise and wisdom prevailed through many of life’s circumstances - a life filled with adventure from her earliest years through her latter years.

She was a world traveler who enjoyed every trip, every sight, and all she met along the way. Interestingly, her names mean: IRENE - Messenger of Peace - Woman of Victorious Spirit and, ANNE - Graceful - One of Understanding. She was a unique, much loved, one-of-a-kind woman, and we miss her, already!

Thank you for your friendship and love toward her. You have enriched her life!
