FUN EVENT, JULY 4, 2016CELEBRATING INDEPENDENCE DAY
45 members and guests got together on July 4th to celebrate the Independence Day holiday, have fun and enjoy some good food and friendships.
Attire was red, white and blue or anything patriotic.
start the morning we had a spider roll off. Doug Dow won
with his bowl closest to the spider web. Also, it was Doug's
birthday today so he was enjoying that in addition.
The morning games were either doubles or triples. The winner of the triples was Joe Brown, Gerry Beene and Henry Richter, while the doubles was won by Amador Martinez and Carol Smith.
Regular scoring for the games was used except touchers were scored in addition.
At the end of the morning games
break was called.
had a delicious lunch of BBQ chicken, baked beans, chile rellenos casserole, salads and dessert. Boy was it good.
The planning for our fun day was largely done by Joe and Gloria Brown. Many thanks to all those that stayed over and helped clean-up and put the club house back together.
