Bob joined the Oxnard-Joslyn
Lawn Bowls Club on February 23, 1996 and was an Active Member through
2009. He continued on as an Associate Member until 2012 but
didn't bowl much during this time. He had been a member of the
Channel Islands Yacht Club in Oxnard. He had been married to
Margaret and they had a son. Margaret passed on some years
earlier. He used to enjoy getting together with friends and play
cards. I recall that Bob used to pick up some extra money by
moving new cars from the docks in Port Hueneme to the auto dealers.
